We had a Wii rehab party for Smades' hernia and Maureen's crazy neck and ended up having Laurel in town for her birthday. While we got to maintain trends of someone winning a golden trophy and someone passing out at the end of the night, we did get a bit of a role reversal this time. We decided to head down to the official election night rally in the Bishop Arts district to hopefully witness history. There was a buzz in the air when we arrived and when the clock turned 10pm CST history was finally made. It was a great scene to witness so many joyous and jubilant people celebrating an improbable dream. It seemed like the whole globe let out a collective cheer and hope for a brighter future. It was certainly a night I'll never forget and I can't stop listening to Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come". Click on Anna above to see the rest of the pics.
